  • HOMDOX 800W Hand Blender review

In our household we only have a high powered NutriBullet style blender. But for lightweight duties and small quantities, I always prefer hand blenders. Easy to use & cleaning up after use and takes up only very less space. We had a 600watts Philips blender, which packed up recently due to motor failure.

Whilst looking for a small blender with decent power, I came across Homdox 800 watts blender with a variety of accessories. This is little expensive than other blenders, but the high power and attachments justifies the cost.

Many blenders that I shortlisted were either too under powered or flimsy. Homdox hand blender comes with 2 blade attachments & 2 jars. The base of the jar has enough grip on worktop without moving around whilst in action. Blender jar is 1000ml and chopper bowl has 600ml capacity. There is also a whisk attachment included.

The unit is surprisingly quiet irrespective of the high powered motor. There is 5 speed setting for for a variety of tasks. The blade is sharp enough to cut through fruits and vegetables. Smaller chopping jar is good enough for light duty grinding.

The blade is detachable from the jug for cleaning. Matt finish stainless body helps to stay clean without any fingerprints or dust. One thing to note while using chopper container - you may need half or more filled container to get the product fully chopped. Overall a very decent blender for the price, though I wish to see a little lower price tag.
