Gaming Chairs - they are no different to your regular ergonomic work chair with height and back adjustments, even the castors. But gaming chair designed from racing car seats. For me, ergonomics is the major factor and not the style - but colour is important to match with my decor.
There were few specific conditions to be met due to my bad posture / sitting habit, long working hours and climate. Needed a full hight backrest with reclining back, lumbar support, height adjustable set and arm rest. Castors are standard to any chair - so that’s covered. Also the width of the seat is important.
HOMDOX Racing chair almost matches to my needs, except non-tiltable seat - ie. reclining is only on backrest. Comes with a pair of cushion for better comfort, but even without that I’m comfortable sitting on it. Black & White colour perfectly matches to my interior decor and no heavy branding / logo as you normally see in other brands.
The material used is not leather or leatherette, but breathable fabric with tight filling. Rest of the parts are made of metal and ABS plastic. The back rest is reclinable using tilt & lock lever. The arm rests are height adjustable, which also can be turned sideways. The height of the seat can be adjusted, but no tilt function on seat.

Chair comes in HOMDOX branded box with instruction leaflet, all the attachments, screws and washers. No spare screws or washers, so make sure you count and organise it before starting assembling. For me it took 20-25 minutes to get everything done. I started with seat attachments and arm rest, then push it into the castor wheel frame and attaching the back rest. Assembling tool is also supplied
Overall a very decent racing chair without going over the top colours or design but with main focus on comfort and quality. We tested this in our home office for an average of 8 hours for a week or so, if there are any durability issues, the review will be updated. Please do check out the pictures for a closer look
