Note to bass lovers / heads: This is again a small speaker, more treble focussed sound, there is no active separate bass driver, no passive driver either. The bass goes down to 120Hz or so, but it would have helped a little more with more powerful amp. Still if you keep on a wooden surface the bass resonates and enhances slightly more. I think it’s also down to the company what sonic signature they want to get across to customer. Surely UMI focussed into a more open sound than focussing on bass or bright sound.

Comes pre-charged, pairing up takes just less than 15 seconds or so. UMI speaker held up okay with good audio reproduction. There is a sense of feeling that something is missing, but that’s surely because of the size and power of amp - in my opinion. Still very good for the size and price.
Bass always shines through when you have more room inside the speakers to design with. Passive subwoofer drivers, translates some of the frequency range to non-audible cabin vibration, that you can feel it. Still clean sound output all the way to highest levels.
Clean output and good build quality
Few tips:
a. Keep the speaker in ear level for a more open sound.
b. Just to be aware the limitation of tiny speakers ability of bass reproduction, particularly for those who are bassheads.
Overall great speakers with a clean and elegant look. Please check out the pictures if you wish to see a closer real life look. UMI supplied the speakers for beta testing & QA and the thoughts shared are based on my own experience in various test conditions.
