The dehumidifier works as advertised, tested in the breakfast room facing kitchen for past 1 week. It catches water for sure but has to go through the winter to see how effective this is and test the accuracy.
Last year October we relocated to outskirts of London for various reasons. October went fine without much of a problem, but when the temperature started dropping down, we noticed the massive increase in heating bills. Due to this we shutdown the heating in downstairs in night that caused massive condensation and damp problems.
We have a Grand Piano in living room and goes out of tune a lot during winter and tuner suggested to keep the environment moisture free. Last year in winter alone we had to call the piano tuner twice. My plan is to place the dehumidifier close to piano, so it will get rid of excess moisture that comes from kitchen, condensation occurs in large windows and cloth dryer week inside.
16 litre extraction each day
Overall works as advertised, but I’ll have to update the review once we enter into Winter, otherwise very clean looking and neat dehumidifier. The unit is fairly large still it can go anywhere due to the contemporary design, but ideally you need to place somewhere you get proper air flow. Please do check out pictures to see how it looks and what exactly you get. Forgot to add, the dehumidifier is not just another light weight unit you get in Amazon but more than 11kg weight, constructed well and looks beautiful.
