Excelvan LED Big Star Fairy Lights

1000s of Christmas lights in Amazon store - but this is different, not too many lights to untangle and hang that takes ages. 3 large and 3 small Star lights in warm white colour. Please note that colour reproduction in picture is only 85% or so accuracy as the lights are more warmer in real life.

This light set is definitely durable - I dropped it couple of times, the lights are made of ABS or similar hard plastic, with many LEDs inside each star light. The cable inlet to each star is close to water tight (if not just apply some hot glue. I’m surprised the IP rating is only 44, supposed to be much more than that.

For size comparison, I could only find a steel cup in a hurry - but please check it out. The lights are beautiful and gentle - not that glamorous but it just gives the theme of Christmas more in a spiritual way than a celebration. I’ll definitely be leaving this outdoors on the tree I’m planning to put up.

Unique styling

In the box, just 6 lights all attached together with inline transformer and UK power plug attached. They look really cool in dark, but slightly cheap looking in day light. For me the biggest advantage is easy to put this up.

Overall a decent set of lights without being too flashy. Please do check out the pictures to see how it looks in dark and up-close in day light. Excelvan supplied the product for testing and QA purposes and it’s my decision to share the thoughts based on my own findings
