Dr.Meter Backlight Stud Metal AC Wire Finder

Highlight? 9V battery is included, so you don’t have to run around for a 9V battery to power this up. Works mostly accurate as my ageing B&D one.

Comes in the box the Stud finder, 9V battery and manual. Manual is clear enough to understand the basics and get you started. The screen is large enough and backlit with audible and visual alerts. Families / People living in apartments definitely need the Stud finder feature as all the partition walls have studs and to mount something securely you have to drill / screw on to studs.

For me the most useful features are Metal & live AC feed finder. My current B&D struggles to find metal in accurate position. Did my tests with Dr. Meter in different ways and generally happy with the accuracy. I think stud mode has more features and settings available.
