I've got this with the intention to use as background lights (bokeh) for Video shoots. No plans to keep it outside, though these are for outdoor use.
Solar panel has enough length to keep it outside and run the wires to inside, glad they designed in that way! Only one problem though, The cable is permanently attached to bulbs and the solar panel, so you won't be able to push the cables to narrow holes, but I don't think for the intended purpose that is necessary. These are acrylic (I assume) spherical balls with LEDs fit right into it, which gives you a nice effect when lights up.
In the pack, 30 bulbs in warm white colour (when light up), Solar panel and the mount and instruction manual. These are well made and beautiful even before lighting up. There is an On / Off button and Mode button (to cycle through various ways to light up). Integrated light sensor turns on the string lights automatically when it gets dark (insufficient ambient light), and turns off the lights at daytime. If you want to run the light in daytime, just cover up the solar panel with dark material.
I've only tested for few hours but the manual says these lights can last for up to 8 hours continuously after each full charge (8-10 hours). The solar panel is 2V and contains 30 LED bulbs spaced between 10-15 cm each for approximately 20 feet.
